Makes solid effort
Disasi recorded four shots (zero on goal) in Sunday's 2-0 loss versus Newcastle United.
Analysis: Despite the loss, Disasi turned in a strong individual performance, winning three tackles, recording four interceptions and making nine clearances against Newcastle. He returned to action for the first time since Sept. 12 after serving a three-match suspension. The start was just his second in four league appearances this season as he is set to remain a starter in the back line for the team.
Available after serving suspension
Disasi is available for selection again after completing his three-match domestic suspension following his red card against Ipswich Town.
Analysis: Disasi returns to contention after serving a three-match ban for serious foul play, having been sent off in the 34th minute against Ipswich Town. The French center-back's return provides Crystal Palace with an additional defensive option after several matches on the sidelines. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jaydee Canvot have also been competing for playing time in central defense, leaving Disasi facing competition to regain a starting role. His availability gives coach Pierre Sage greater flexibility when selecting his defensive lineup.
