Analysis: Dasilva created one chance during Saturday's loss, a nice showing in the defeat. As a defender in such a difficult match creating even a single chance is a nice boon. If he can continue to be involved going forward against some more beatable opponents he could be an even bigger upside defender. That's tough to project for what is likely one of the worst teams in the top flight.

Analysis: Dasilva continued to push forward from left-back and put his only shot on target, forcing Konstatinos Tzolakis into a stoppage-time save with a header. He also supplied three crosses and one interception across 90 minutes. His willingness to join the attack gives Coventry another source of width from defense and should provide opportunities for creative production over the course of the season.
Busy defensively
Dasilva recorded two crosses (zero accurate) and five clearances in Friday's 3-0 defeat versus Arsenal.
Analysis: Dasilva had everything to do defensively to try and shut down Arsenal in the opening match of the Premier League. He wasn't able to do so but he did make five clearances. With Coventry unlikely control many matches there should be plenty of work for Dasilva to do behind the ball this season.
Reliable left-back
Dasilva ended the season having been Coventry's first-choice left-back throughout their Championship title-winning campaign, contributing three assists, 48 chances created and 103 crosses in 42 league appearances.
Analysis: Dasilva brought experience and consistency to a Coventry side that secured promotion back to the Premier League, with his crossing ability and link-up play contributing directly to several goals throughout the season, including a vital assist for Ellis Simms in the win over Middlesbrough. Dasilva heads into the Premier League as an important squad option for Coventry, and his background as a Chelsea academy player will be valuable as the Sky Blues adjust to the step up in quality.
