Still searching for first 2026/27 goal
Wilson has made only three appearances off the bench in the 2026/27 Premier League season.
Analysis: The veteran striker appeared off the bench for seven, two and four minutes in the first three matches of the 2026/27 EPL campaign, and he's been an unused sub in the last two. Even with Igor Thiago struggling, Wilson isn't expected to start or play significant minutes any time soon, which should limit his fantasy appeal considerably in most formats.
Brief cameo in stoppage time
Wilson registered one shot (zero on goal) in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Leeds United.
Analysis: Wilson came on for Michael Kayode in the 89th minute, registering one shot that failed to trouble James Trafford in the two minutes of action he had before the final whistle. His introduction was part of a triple substitution as Brentford looked to exploit any remaining opportunity to steal all three points. Wilson has now appeared twice off the bench in Brentford's opening two Premier League matches without scoring.
