Signs with Le Mans
Mafouta signed with Le Mans through 2028, with an option for an additional season, the club announced.
Analysis: Mafouta arrives after an outstanding campaign with Guingamp in which he scored 15 goals and added two assists, finishing as one of Ligue 2's most prolific forwards. The 32-year-old striker has established himself as a consistent scorer in the division, netting 50 goals across 134 Ligue 2 appearances with Quevilly-Rouen, Amiens and Guingamp since 2022. An experienced Central African Republic international with 16 goals in 33 caps, Mafouta also brings Ligue 1 experience from his time at Metz. His arrival provides Le Mans with a proven attacking threat as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
