Kandet Diawara

Assists off bench in heavy defeat

Diawara assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), five crosses (zero accurate) and four corners in Sunday's 6-2 defeat versus Strasbourg.

Analysis: Diawara came off the bench and registered an assist in Sunday's 6-2 Ligue 1 home defeat to Strasbourg, providing the key pass that led to one of Troyes' two goals in what was otherwise a difficult afternoon for the home side. His contribution off the bench was one of the few positive moments in a second half where Strasbourg's clinical counter-attacking completely overwhelmed a tired Troyes defense. Troyes travel to Lille on Sunday as coach Stephane Dumont's side look to bounce back from their first defeat of the 2026/27 Ligue 1 campaign.
