This comes after a clean sheet in their UCL opener, although they did take a major step up in opponents, facing Porto when they earned the clean sheet. Analysis: Donnarumma saved 80 per cent of the shots he faced against Turkey, with only Aral Simsir's equaliser having gone past him. The goalkeeper stopped four of five on Monday, with his total reaching 11 saves in two games for Italy. The 27-year-old made an important stop in the second half, but he almost gifted the opposition another goal following a risky decision which put him in no man's land.
Concedes three against Sunderland

Analysis: Donnarumma was called into action multiple times Sunday, although it was not his best match to date, allowing three of the seven shots he faced on net to hit the back of the net. Analysis: Donnarumma would not hold his clean sheet for long Sunday, with the Italian giving up a goal 26 minutes in before the eventual win. He would then make three saves to help City win as they completed a very late comeback after a penalty kick. They will now face Crystal Palace on Friday, needing a clean sheet if he wants to keep pace with his 15 from last campaign.
Ready for preseason in Hong Kong
Donnarumma is training with Manchester City in Hong Kong and looks ready for preseason, the club announced.
Analysis: Donnarumma took to life at City quickly in his debut campaign, ranking second in the Premier League with 15 clean sheets behind only Golden Glove winner David Raya. His shot-stopping reflexes and composure with the ball at his feet have made him one of the sport's premier goalkeepers, and his move from PSG hasn't diminished that reputation. With a proper preseason and a second year in the setup now under him, there's every reason to expect further growth as City look to get back into the title picture. Donnarumma is expected to remain the clear starter and keep building up his fitness as the preseason tour progresses.

He now has to be at his best as City can't afford to drop any more points if they want to win the title, facing Brentford next on Saturday.

He will now prepare for a massive tilt against Arsenal, needing to be at his best to keep their title hopes alive.

Analysis: Donnarumma would make four saves but couldn't do much when left out to dry multiple times by his defense, allowing two in the loss. He roughly ends his UCL campaign, far from where he ended last year when winning the competition with PSG, recording three clean sheets, 12 goals allowed and 21 saves in his nine appearances with City. He will now need to regroup as his club chases a Premier League title that just may be out of reach, although they first have a chance at a trophy when facing Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
