Moves to Inter

Provedel has transferred to Inter on a permanent deal from Lazio.

Analysis: Provedel replaces previous starter Yann Sommer in the squad and is expected to back up and compete with Josep Martinez, who's set to open the season as the no.1 goalie. Provedel is coming off a bounce-back campaign during which he kept 12 clean sheets, made 90 saves and allowed 27 goals in 27 appearances before suffering a serious shoulder injury he's still recovering from. Instead, Lazio could roll with Christos Mandas and Edoardo Motta between the sticks.
