Loaned to Dynamo Moscow
Casimir has been sent on loan to Russian side Dynamo Moscow for the remainder of the 2026/27 campaign from Auxerre, the club announced Thursday.
Analysis: Casimir's loan deal includes a purchase option, so he could spend a longer period in Moscow if he makes a good impression for his new team. The right winger recently made three international appearances for Haiti at the World Cup, but overall, he has failed to impress at both club and country level over the past year, performing below his best in terms of attacking production. This move takes competition away from Danny Namaso and Romain Faivre for starts in Auxerre's squad.
Returns to bench
Casimir (knee) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Lens.
Analysis: Casimir missed preseason with Auxerre while recovering from a knee injury following his World Cup involvement but has now returned to the squad. He faces an uphill battle for a starting role after seeing his playing time diminish late last season, finishing the campaign on the bench in seven straight appearances.
