Luiz Felipe

Analysis: Felipe had to leave training with discomfort Thursday, and a clearer reasoning is now available, as the defender suffered a torn ACL. Unfortunately, this will knock him out for the remainder of the season, likely eyeing a return at the start of the 2027/28 season. This will leave the club with less depth in the defense, but will not force any changes, as he has yet to see the field this campaign.

Leaves training with discomfort

Felipe abandoned Thursday's training session with an undisclosed issue, and his status for upcoming contests is now unclear, per Nacho Herrero of Pasion por el Rayo.

Analysis: Felipe was coming close to a return to the field following his recovery from a significant muscle injury, having appeared among the substitutes in last weekend's La Liga match. However, his availability is in doubt once again as he awaits fitness tests, hoping this is only a scare rather than a relapse of his previous issue. In any case, his playing time might continue to be limited in the short term, with Florian Lejeune and Mujaid Sadick featuring at center-back.
