Concedes three goals versus Lecce
Thiam registered one celarance, no saves and allowed three goals in Sunday's 3-2 defeat against Lecce.
Analysis: Thiam was somehow beaten thrice without making any saves, as Lecce found the target with two headers on corner kicks and a close-range finish. He hasn't been great so far, and the coach could eventually give Noel Tornqvist a chance. He has given up seven goals and rejected four shots in three starts. Up next, Monza will host Sassuolo on Friday.
Two saves against Parma
Thiam had two saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Parma.
Analysis: Thiam made two saves in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Parma, denying Simone Lontani's initial effort before the rebound fell for the youngster to score, and was otherwise rarely threatened as Monza controlled large spells of the match. The Senegalese goalkeeper has now conceded four goals with zero clean sheets across two Serie A appearances this season, though Sunday's display was more composed than his opening fixture suggests, and he heads into the Lecce fixture needing to produce his first clean sheet of the campaign.
