Luca Pellegrini

Pellegrini "has been inserted into the squad list and has always trained in recent weeks, so he'll be an option going forward," coach Gennaro Gattuso announced.

Analysis: Pellegrini was initially ousted because Lazio had too many players and a couple of alternatives in his role, but Patric left well after deadline day, and the team elected to use their slots to add him. He'll back up Nuno Tavares and Alfonso Pedraza at left-back.

Excluded from the Serie A list

Pellegrini won't be available for the next few matches, as Lazio didn't insert him in the season-long list, Il Messaggero reported.

Analysis: Pellegrino has been deemed redundant since he's the third choice at left-back behind Nuno Tavares and Alfonso Pedraza. The list can be modified a limited number of times, but it'll likely take an injury for him to be reintroduced. He's also in talks to head to some leagues where the window is still open.
