Analysis: Augusto subbed on for Federico Dimarco (knee) in the 62nd minute and delivered a cross that led to Marcus Thuram's equalizer in the 82nd of the match against Napoli. Those were the first minutes of the 2026/27 period for Augusto, as he had been forced to wait for opportunities as a backup player given Dimarco's solid form. However, the Brazilian may now play a greater role in the rotation, seeing most of his action on the left side of a five-man midfield going forward.
