Carlos Augusto
INT
Finds net in back-to-back
Augusto scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Monday's 5-3 victory over Udinese.
Analysis: Carlos Augusto has taken his chance while Federico Dimarco has been absent from XI, scoring in back to back games across all competitions after his goal at the Bernabeu was followed by another against Udinese. He has three shots and five chances created across the two matches, but with Dimarco already logging minutes off the bench in this game, a return to the bench could be on the cards for Augusto.
Finds the target in Real Madrid game
Augusto scored one goal to go with one shot (one on target), seven crosses (two accurate) and three chances created in Tuesday's 2-1 loss versus Real Madrid.
Analysis: Augusto took advantage of Federico Dimarco's (knee) absence to make his first start and notch his maiden goal, punching the ball home from the middle of the box on a Lautaro Martinez feed. He assisted once and logged four chances created, 11 crosses (four accurate) and two clearances in two displays so far. The starter is iffy also for the next match.
Assists off bench in win
Augusto assisted once to go with four crosses (two accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 win over Napoli.
Analysis: Augusto subbed on for Federico Dimarco (knee) in the 62nd minute and delivered a cross that led to Marcus Thuram's equalizer in the 82nd of the match against Napoli. Those were the first minutes of the 2026/27 period for Augusto, as he had been forced to wait for opportunities as a backup player given Dimarco's solid form. However, the Brazilian may now play a greater role in the rotation, seeing most of his action on the left side of a five-man midfield going forward.
