Analysis: Araujo led Uruguay in crosses as usual, but couldn't find the back of the net to avoid the loss and the disappointing early elimination. The forward also won the most duels (eight) among all players in the field. He finished the World Cup with two goals, one assist, four shots, 10 chances created and 18 crosses in three starts.
Extends strong momentum

Analysis: Araujo delivered a solid performance in the second World Cup game, as he scored through a diving header in the 44th minute and created the chance for Agustin Canobbio to double Uruguay's count during first-half stoppage time. Although his team remains without a victory, the Sporting CP player has had an excellent start to the tournament, tallying two goals and one assist across two appearances. Additionally, he has taken corner kicks from both flanks, gaining even more value in the absence of Giorgian De Arrascaeta (calf).
