Vakoun Bayo
Suffers thigh injury
Bayo is week-to-week due to a right biceps femoris strain, Udinese announced.
Analysis: Bayo would have started against Torino if healthy, as Keinan Davis was eased into action, but he was a late scratch and will be sidelined for up to a month. The boss will turn to a false nine, Unai Gomez or Lazar Jovanovic, when the starter isn't on the pitch in the next few rounds.
Assists off bench
Bayo assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Monday's 5-3 loss against Inter Milan.
Analysis: Bayo registered his first goal involvement of the season with an assist against Inter, coming on with Udinese unable to hold on to what they had built early at San Siro. The forward remains a reserve option and has been used from the bench in every game so far, following a season in which he was handed just four starts across 15 appearances. The goals have still not come for him, with none in 18 appearances for the club, but he has three assists in that time and may continue to be called on as an impact option.
Assists off the bench
Bayo assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Monday's 3-3 draw versus Lazio.
Analysis: Bayo likely thought he had the winning assist but that was foiled by a late Lazio goal. The forward could see more playing time against Torino in a favorable matchup, especially if Jurgen Ekkelenkamp's injury is serious. Torino has allowed 56 goals in 34 domestic games this season.
