Makes Brighton debut
Svoboda (undisclosed) featured off the bench in Saturday's clash against Arsenal, marking his first minutes with Brighton.
Analysis: Svoboda had been ruled out for a stretch due to injury not long after joining the club from Venezia this summer, where he had captained the side to the Serie B title. This debut now confirms he has recovered, giving Brighton another option in defense as he continues integrating with his new teammates.
Dealing with injury
Svoboda (undisclosed) is ruled out for the time being due to injury, according to coach Fabian Hurzeler, per The Argus.
Analysis: Svoboda joined Brighton this summer from Venezia after captaining the club to the Serie B title, and this setback comes at an early stage of his time with the club. He also earned caps for Austria at the World Cup before his move, and his path back to full training will be worth monitoring as he continues integrating with his new teammates.
