Having played three full games in a row, Berg is now firmly ahead of Fredrik Aursnes in the contention for a starting position alongside Sander Berge and Martin Odegaard in Norway's three-man midfield. Berg isn't a consistent goal threat, but anybody who has the chance to pass to Haaland can earn some assists. Berg will likely be more limited against Brazil next time out.
