Egil Selvik
Makes three saves in win
Selvik made three saves and conceded one goal during Saturday's 2-1 win over Le Havre.
Analysis: Selvik made some big interventions and looked on his way to keep the first clean sheet of the season but then he saw Rayan Fofana beating him from the penalty spot to score the consolation goal for the opposition. Still, this can be seen as progress for the goalkeeper, who allowed multiple goals in both of his previous starts.
Makes zero saves in draw
Selvik recorded no saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Toulouse.
Analysis: Selvik conceded in both shots he faced during the home draw and made no saves for the first time. He has no clean sheets after two starts in Ligue 1 play. The goalkeeper will now look to bounce back at Le Havre on Saturday.
Makes three saves in draw
Selvik had three saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Le Mans.
Analysis: Selvik made three saves and two clearances during Brest's season debut. The goalkeeper logged his first start for the new club since transferring from Watford in July. He will now look to bounce back against Toulouse on Saturday.
Loaned to Brest
Selvik has been loaned to Brest from Watford, according to his new club.
Analysis: Selvik is on the move and leaving England for the season, as the goalie will instead serve in France with Brest. The 29-year-old was the starter in net for Watford last season, recording 114 saves, 56 goals allowed and seven clean sheets in his 40 appearances. He will likely settle into a bench spot with his new club, mainly being used in Cup matches behind Gregoire Coudert.
Beaten four times Friday
Selvik registered five saves and allowed four goals in Friday's 4-1 defeat against France.
Analysis: Selvik gave up three goals in the first half, all courtesy of Ousmane Dembele, and a fourth one in the dying stages of the contest when he couldn't parry Desire Doue's header. Selvik got the start since Norway decided to rotate pretty much the entire XI, so expect Orjan Nyland to return to the starting lineup for the Round of 32 match against Ivory Coast on June 30.
