Makes traveling squad
Frankowski (adductor) has been included in the Rennes squad traveling for Wednesday's Europa League opener against Sturm Graz.
Analysis: Frankowski had initially been expected to miss the matches against Sturm Graz and Lyon due to an adductor injury, but his inclusion in the traveling squad indicates he has recovered quicker than anticipated. The right-back has started the season strongly with one goal and one assist through four appearances, though his minutes could be managed following the injury. Bryan Reynolds remains an alternative on the right if Frankowski isn't ready to return directly to the starting XI.
Set to miss two matches
Frankowski is expected to be absent for the matches against Sturm Graz and Lyon due to an adductor injury, according to coach Franck Haise, per Mathis Eon of Roazhon Radio.
Analysis: Frankowski scored the decisive goal in the recent win over Angers, giving him one goal and one assist through four appearances while also creating five chances and logging in seven tackles. This injury now interrupts a strong start to the season, and his recovery timeline will be worth monitoring as Rennes continues its campaign. Bryan Reynolds is expected to start at right-back until he returns to full speed.
