Analysis: Vinas produced even as a backup player after coming off the bench for the final 20 minutes, scoring with a fine close-range finish in the 79th against Bravos. He increased his total to four goals over eight appearances (five starts) for Toluca, and he's now tied with Helinho as the team leader in that aspect. The Uruguayan will look to return to a starting spot in the more important matches at least while Paulinho (calf) works on his recovery.

Analysis: Vinas came through when Toluca needed him the most, and the veteran striker found the back of the net in the 90th minute with a penalty. With Paulinho (calf) still sidelined, look for Vinas to continue leading Toluca's attack for the foreseeable future. This was his first goal in the Apertura.
