Nursing serious muscular problem
Idzes has been diagnosed with a moderate-grade strain of his left quad, Sassuolo announced.
Analysis: Idzes is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks and will therefore miss some matches after the first international break, in addition to the upcoming Monza one. Duje Caleta-Car and Cas Odenthal will soak up his minutes while he's on the mend.
Departs late in Juventus match
Idzes had one shot (zero on goal) and one interception in 81 minutes in Sunday's 3-2 victory over Juventus before leaving due to a potential thigh injury, Sky Italy reported.
Analysis: Idzes didn't pick up many stats but held things together in the back, as his side allowed two goals after he bowed out holding his thigh. He faces a short turnaround to recover for Friday's away game versus Monza. Duje Caleta-Car and Cas Odenthal are the alternative options at the position.
