Andrea Colpani
MON
Productive display versus Lecce
Colpani created one scoring chance and had three shots (two on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 3-2 defeat versus Lecce.
Analysis: Colpani returned to XI after one game and put up numbers across the board on offense, even though he didn't directly participate in the two goals, and his replacement, Ezequiel Zeballos, scored off the bench. He has sent in multiple crosses, totaling 12 (seven accurate), and one or more corners, amassing eight, in his every outing, scoring once. Additionally, this marked his third straight game with at least one shot and one key pass, racking up six of each.
Scores versus Udinese
Colpani scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 3-2 loss versus Udinese.
Analysis: Colpani achieved a 37th-minute equalizer via right-footed finish from inside the penalty area during a strong outing in the second league game of the season. He also delivered all three of his side's corner kicks, strengthening his position as the top set-piece taker on the squad so far. With decent playing time and set plays, he's likely to remain one of the biggest threats for a team that has shown attacking ability during a tough start to the Serie A campaign.
