Assists in draw
Diaz assisted once to go with six shots (three on goal), one cross (one accurate) and three chances created in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Toluca.
Analysis: Diaz drove the ball near the opposing box, pulling various defenders toward him and finding Jose Alvarado alone for the 12th-minute opener against Diablos. The Panamanian remains in decisive form, with a direct goal involvement in four consecutive matches. Those contributions boost his Apertura totals to three goals and one assist, which rank fourth and third on the team, respectively. His volume of shots has also been notable in his last pair of outings, a span in which he has registered nine attempts.
Breaks deadlock in win
Diaz scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Tuesday's 2-0 victory against Tigres UANL.
Analysis: Diaz took advantage of a huge blunder from Rafael Guerrero to break the deadlock midway through the first half. The outstanding form of the Leon attackers has prevented Diaz from earning a regular role in the final third, and while he made the most of his opportunity, he's likely to return to the bench when Leon take on Toluca on Saturday.
