Almeida joined Racing Santander from Valencia on a season-long loan deal Tuesday.
Analysis: Almeida was expected to be a depth option for Valencia, especially after the arrival of Harvey Elliott on loan from Liverpool, and the Portuguese playmaker will head to Racing, where he might have a clearer path to playing time. Almeida notched two assists in 22 league appearances in 2025/26 and hasn't scored a goal in his last two seasons, so he doesn't carry a ton of fantasy appeal.
Assists as substitute
Almeida had an assist with his lone chance created while crossing once accurately during Sunday's 4-3 win over Real Sociedad.
Analysis: Almeida entered the match in the 83rd minute and set up Guido Rodriguez six minutes later for Valencia's third goal. The assist was the first since December for Almeida as he hasn't started a match since April 5th.
