Almeida will be available for Racing Santander's clash against Valencia on Oct. 11, with Racing having made a small payment within the loan agreement to remove a clause that would have prevented him from facing the club that owns his rights.
Analysis: Almeida joined Racing on loan through June 2027, after leaving Valencia on Sept. 1 following four seasons, 119 official appearances, contributing four goals and 13 assists. He recently acknowledged he needed a change of scenery after several seasons in which he did not feel comfortable at Mestalla, and will now be free to face his former team without contractual restrictions.

Almeida is eligible once again after clearing his one-game ban in the midweek loss to Barcelona.
Analysis: Almeida will return to contention with Sergio Canales in the No. 10 spot, but he might see most of his minutes off the bench. Almeida joined Racing Santander from Valencia on a season-long loan deal Tuesday.
