Signs with Al Ahli
Trincao signed a four year contract with Al Ahli after departing Sporting Lisbon, the club announced.
Analysis: Trincao has made 327 official career appearances with 62 goals and 57 assists across spells at Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona, Wolverhampton and Braga in the Portuguese, Spanish and English top flights. His trophy haul includes the UEFA Nations League, back to back Portuguese league titles, a Portuguese Cup and a Copa del Rey, and he led the Portuguese league in assists last season. The winger is regarded as one of Europe's standout playmakers given his versatility across attacking positions. Trincao is expected to bring significant creative quality to Al Ahli's attack as the club looks to compete for titles.

Analysis: Trincao checked in for Joao Felix in the 64th minute and immediately helped keep Portugal on the front foot, making a late run into the box to get on the end of a dangerous pass as the side continued to hunt for more goals. He played a key role in sustaining the attacking pressure during the final stretch of a match Portugal controlled from the opening whistle to the final whistle.
