Could miss up to two months
Herrando (groin) suffered a significant tear in his groin and is expected to be sidelined for up to two months, according to Diario De Navarra.
Analysis: This is not the first time Herrando has suffered a serious injury, and in the last severe groin injury he had during his Logrones days a few years ago, he was sidelined for up to two months. Herrando's absence means Enzo Boyomo could be in line for a bigger role at center-back.
Diagnosed with adductor injury
Herrando has been diagnosed with an adductor injury and will undergo tests to determine how long he'll be sidelined for, the team announced Monday.
Analysis: Herrando left the contest in the first half, and adductor injuries usually translate into multi-week absences, even in the best-case scenario. With the defender sidelined for potentially a few matches depending on the test results, Enzo Boyomo could be in line for a bigger role at the heart of Osasuna's defensive line.
