Nets twice vs. Croatia
Saka scored two goals in Saturday's 7-0 win over Croatia.
Analysis: Saka was a constant threat on the right wing, and he exploited Croatia's defensive inability to score twice. This is the first time Saka has scored for the Three Lions since his hat-trick in the 2026 FIFA World Cup against France in the third-place match. This is also the first brace for Saka in the 2026/27 season for club and country, and the winger has been in excellent form in the EPL as well with three goals in five appearances.

Analysis: Saka registered two shots including one on goal, created three chances and delivered five crosses of which three were accurate and three corners across 60 minutes before being replaced by Mikel Merino, also squandering Arsenal's best first-half chance when he failed to get enough contact on Martin Odegaard's cutback in the six-yard box. He was largely contained by Olivier Boscagli on Brighton's left side and could not generate the forward momentum that has defined his best performances. Saka and Arsenal head into the international break having conceded three goals for the first time in a Premier League match this season.
