Souttar registered seven clearances and two interceptions in Friday's 1-1 (5-3) penalty shootout defeat versus Egypt.
Analysis: Souttar generated the play that led to Egypt's own goal and delivered a strong defensive performance. Unfortunately, he couldn't step up when it mattered most, as the towering center-back missed the opening penalty in the shootout. Souttar ends the 2026 World Cup with 25 clearances, seven blocked shots, four interceptions and two tackles in four starts while playing every single minute for the Socceroos.
