Analysis: Fajardo thought he had given Panama a stoppage-time consolation, beating Jordan Pickford with a well-taken finish, only for the goal to be ruled out for a marginal offside in Saturday's 2-0 World Cup defeat to England. He also nearly connected with a diving header moments later as Panama pushed hard for a goal in the closing stages. Panama's elimination from the World Cup is confirmed with the result, finishing bottom of Group L as the tournament's only side without a single goal scored.
