Seals victory with late goal

Ruiz scored one goal to go with five shots (three on goal) and two chances created in Tuesday's 4-2 victory over Barcelona.

Analysis: Ruiz capped an impressive midfield performance by scoring PSG's fourth goal in the 86th minute, converting Achraf Hakimi's delivery to put the result beyond Barcelona's reach. The Spaniard was heavily involved offensively, attempting five shots and creating two chances, while also contributing three interceptions to help PSG regain possession. He has now registered two goals, one assist, five chances created and five interceptions across three Champions League appearances this season. His ability to combine attacking production with defensive contributions makes him an indispensable presence alongside Vitinha and Joao Neves in PSG's midfield.

Notches assist

Ruiz assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 4-2 win against Manchester City.

Analysis: Ruiz was back in the starting XI for PSG as he earned an assist in the major win, finding Desire Doue in the 13th minute for the opening goal. This gives him his second UCL goal contribution of the season, as he bagged a goal in their opener. He has now started in both UCL games to open the season, better than his three starts in six appearances in league play.
