Celta VigoCleared to face Getafe
Iglesias (calf) has received medical clearance after completing Sunday's team training session and is available for Monday's La Liga clash against Getafe, according to the club.
Analysis: Iglesias has completed his recovery from the myofascial tear in his left soleus suffered Aug. 25, having missed Celta's recent league fixtures while working his way back. His return gives manager Claudio Giraldez an important option at center-forward and adds a proven focal point to an attack that has lacked his presence during the opening weeks of the campaign. After completing a full session with the group Sunday, Iglesias could immediately return to the matchday squad, though his recent layoff may influence how many minutes he receives.
Out two weeks with injury
Iglesias will miss around two weeks with a left soleus muscle tear, Celta announced Tuesday.
Analysis: Iglesias did not feature at all in the league opener and will now miss the upcoming commitments after suffering a left soleus myofascial rupture. The forward only returned to training on Aug. 11 following his post-World Cup vacation, but he is now expected to spend around two weeks on the sidelines.
