Returns to Sociedad

Fernandez has returned to Real Sociedad following his loan with Mirandes.

Analysis: Fernandez spent the past season in La Liga 2, in which he earned a solid season, starting in 31 of his 35 appearances while recording 16 goals and two assists. That said, the 30-year-old seems to be more fit for the second tier, having struggled for time the past few seasons with Sociedad. A move out could very well be coming soon for the veteran forward.
