His consistency, shot-stopping and knack for stepping up in decisive moments have made him one of the club's most trusted figures both on and off the pitch. Sivera is expected to continue serving as Alaves's primary goalkeeper and a central leadership figure within the squad as he begins his second decade at the club.
Concedes once
Sivera had two saves and allowed one goal in Thursday's 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano.
Analysis: Sivera didn't face too many shots, but he did make some saves in a draw to get his side a point. The goalkeeper is likely to face much more firepower against Villarreal, a side which netted 72 goals in league play a season ago.

The saving grace, however, is that he played his part in securing the club's top flight survival after a nervy battle in the final weeks of the season.

Analysis: Sivera didn't have to make a single save against the newly-crowned league champions Wednesday, earning an easy clean sheet without facing a single shot on goal. It was a shock performances all around, both for the win and the clean sheet. It's a great boon for Sivera, who would have expected to struggle against the best team in the league.
Makes four saves in draw
Sivera had four saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Elche. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 78th minute.
Analysis: Sivera couldn't keep the clean sheet, but at least posted a better outing than in his previous game, where he allowed four goals and didn't make a single save against Athletic Club on May 2. Sivera won't have a lot of upside in his next outing since he'll have the daunting task of facing Barcelona on Wednesday.

Analysis: Sivera conceded a pair of goals Tuesday, but it's hard to blame him considering those goals were scored by Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior. He's now conceded multiple goals in seven of his last eight starts as his squad sits just a point above the relegation zone. He faces a more favorable matchup Saturday versus Mallorca, a side which has scored 40 goals through 32 matches.
