Cande was unused from the bench in Sunday's 1-1 draw against AC Milan.
Analysis: Cande was on the team sheet Sunday after using the international break to recover, but wouldn't find the field, going unused for the full 90. It is a good sign to see the defender on the team sheet after recovering from an injury that ended his season in January last campaign. However, he will now look to see the field, likely a rotational option at full-back for the club.
Should be selected versus Milan
Cande (knee) has progressively ramped up during the break and is trending toward being an option for Sunday's match versus Milan, Tuttomercatoweb reported.
Analysis: Cande has gotten healthy after missing several months because of an ACL tear and should be back available, providing depth in a pair of defensive roles. He played 12 times (nine starts) last season, recording nine tackles, two interceptions and 28 blocks, with no clean sheets.
Still recovering from serious injury
Cande (knee) hasn't appeared during the friendlies and in Monday's Coppa Italia tilt versus Cesena.
Analysis: Cande tore his knee in January and needs more time to be ready to play. He is set to be unavailable in the early portion of the season. Jay Idzes, Sebastian Walukiewicz (undisclosed), Cas Odenthal and Tommaso Macchioni will hold down the fort in the middle of the defense in the meantime.
