Michal Skoras
LEN
Losing ground after early starts
Skoras has appeared in all five of Lens' opening Ligue 1 matches but returned to the bench against Monaco on Sept. 18 after exiting the Le Mans FC game at halftime.
Analysis: Skoras has played 273 minutes and supplied an assist off the bench in the season-opening win over Auxerre. He started the next three league games but was taken off at halftime against Le Mans before playing 21 minutes against Monaco under new coach Yannick Cahuzac. His minutes remain unsure moving forward since he is in competition with players on the both flanks.
Signs with Lens
Skoras completed a transfer to Lens from Gent, the club announced Tuesday.
Analysis: Skoras made the move to Lens and Ligue 1, which should represent a nice step up for the midfielder in the coming year. He was a solid contributor in Belgium, offering strong upside going forward as a creative midfield option. He should be a nice option in Lens, with the talent to push for starting minutes immediately, or a depth role if nothing else.
