Brescianini recorded two tackles (zero won), three clearances and two interceptions and drew one foul in Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Inter Milan.
Analysis: Brescianini returned to the starting lineup after a couple of months, replacing Arthur Atta (abdomen) and getting fielded over Pedro Goncalves and Christ Inao Oulai and had a fine performance in the passive phase, setting new season highs in tackles and clearances. Fiorentina were sturdier than in previous games despite the loss, so he could get more opportunities. He has notched three crosses (one accurate), four tackles (one won) and five interceptions in his last five displays.
Dishes out assist versus Atalanta
Brescianini assisted once to go with two clearances and one chance created and drew one foul in Friday's 1-1 draw against Atalanta.
Analysis: Brescianini drew his third start in the last four rounds and set up Roberto Piccoli with a nice through ball ahead of his team's only goal, recording his first assist of the season. He has had a somewhat consistent role since joining on loan in January and will stay permanently, since the condition to trigger the option to buy was Fiorentina avoiding relegation. He has scored once and notched 10 shots (two on target), eight chances created and 20 clearances in 17 outings (10 starts) in the second half of the season.
Comes in late against Lecce
Brescianini (thigh) had four passes and no other stats in 10 minutes in Monday's 1-1 draw with Lecce.
Analysis: Brescianini didn't play a lot after dealing with a thigh ailment for a couple of weeks. He might have been surpassed by Cher Ndour in the pecking order. He has tallied two shots (zero on target), three chances created and four crosses (one accurate) in his last five appearances (two starts).
Bench option

Analysis: Brescianini was already deemed fit for Monday after he was back in training, and that has come to fruition, as the midfielder resides on the bench. He has started in six of his past eight appearances, although he has only started in seven of his 12 appearances all season, serving in more of a rotational role but starting to earn a bigger role before the injury.
