Franjic went under the knife to repair an AC joint dislocation, Venezia announced.
Analysis: Franjic and the Venezia doctor ultimately determined that the operation was the best route to make a full recovery, even though it'll likely take him longer to return. He'll likely be out for two to three months. Newcomers Redouane Halhal, Matias Moreno, and Juan Jesus will take over the position.

Exits Milan clash in first half
Franjic generated one cross (zero accurate), one interception and two tackles in 48 minutes in Friday's game against Milan before departing with an apparent shoulder injury, Sky Italy reported.
Analysis: Franjic had a pretty solid first half but couldn't continue after falling hard to the ground. He's set for tests before next Sunday's away game against Frosinone. He was replaced by Redouane Halhal, who will likely take over the position if needed.
