Analysis: Cherki checked in during the 68th minute as part of a double switch alongside Desire Doue, replacing Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele after manager Didier Deschamps began rotating with the result already in hand. He entered with France comfortably ahead 3-0 and their place in the Round of 32 already secured following the Ballon d'Or winner's third goal of the night. Cherki created one chance and won one tackle, and France will now shift their focus to a Group I showdown against Norway on June 26, a match where he could earn a start to give Dembele a breather.
