Quickly secures starting role
El Aynaoui has started four consecutive matches across all competitions since arriving from Roma.
Analysis: El Aynaoui has immediately established himself as a regular in midfield following his arrival, starting every match during his opening run with the club. He has attempted seven shots while creating two chances and adding six tackles and five interceptions across four appearances in all competitions. His combination of attacking involvement and defensive work has helped him quickly secure a prominent role in midfield.
Transfers to RB Leipzig
El Aynaoui has left Roma to join RB Leipzig on loan with an option to buy.
Analysis: El Aynaoui never quite managed to become a linchpin because of the competition during his short time in Italy, recording 17 chances created, 23 crosses (six accurate) and 45 tackles in 36 appearances (16 starts), scoring and assisting twice. He'll be looking for a more consistent role in the Bundesliga.
