Concedes four in thrilling draw

Analysis: Carnesecchi conceded a season-high four goals Sunday but still managed to earn the draw thanks to his attack's stellar day. It's been a rough start to the season for the keeper as he's now conceded multiple goals in five of his last six starts. He'll hope to get back on track Thursday at Fiorentina.

Analysis: Carnesecchi made three saves as Atalanta returned to winning ways against Venezia, though Antoine Hainaut's goal before half time left him without a clean sheet for a fourth straight league outing. He has hardly been idle during that run with 18 saves across the four games, and he has been one of Atalanta's standout performers this season. Atalanta travel to Milan for their next league outing on Sunday.

Analysis: Carensecchi recorded a new season high in saves and pulled off several massive ones, but he could have likely done more on the two goals, as he was surprised by the trajectory of a header by Mario Hermoso, and Matias Soule beat him on the near post. He has kept one clean sheet, made 19 saves and given up three goals so far. Up next, Atalanta will host Cagliari on Saturday.
Keeps clean sheet with big saves

Analysis: Carnesecchi was instrumental in keeping the scoreline level before Lazar Samardzic broke the deadlock, producing two crucial stops and three saves in total behind a defence that struggled to contain Bologna for long periods, with the visitors dominating possession, carrying much the greater threat and striking the woodwork before Atalanta survived to win it at the death. The goalkeeper claimed his first league clean sheet of the season in the process, his third across all competitions in his last four games, and he has started every match under Maurizio Sarri with no competition for the shirt. His next test will come Saturday against Roma.
