Makes five interceptions
Poreba took an off target shot and made five interceptions during Saturday's 4-0 loss to RB Leipzig.
Analysis: Poreba was active in defense as he led Elversberg with his five interceptions in the match. The midfielder has two shots, five tackles and 10 interceptions over his last three starts.
Ever-present in Bundesliga so far
Poreba has started and played the full 90 in every game for Elversberg so far this season.
Analysis: Poreba has logged every single minute for the promoted club this season, but he's earned most of his fantasy upside as a defensive-minded presence in midfield. Through five starts, Poreba has 14 clearances, 10 blocked shots, seven interceptions and five tackles.
Returns to Bundesliga level
Poreba ended the season having signed permanently with Elversberg after a loan spell from Hamburger, contributing one goal and three assists in his first season at the club as Elversberg secured a historic promotion to the Bundesliga.
Analysis: Poreba started every fixture from matchday three onwards, providing consistency and tactical intelligence in central midfield throughout the promotion-winning campaign. Poreba heads into the Bundesliga having previously gained experience at the top level with Hamburger and RC Lens, and his reliable two-way play gives Elversberg an important piece in midfield as they prepare for their first-ever top-flight campaign.
