Celta VigoReturns to Levante on loan
Sanchez has returned to Levante on loan from Celta Vigo through the end of the season, according to the club.
Analysis: Sanchez made 33 appearances for Levante last season during his previous loan spell from Celta, becoming an important piece of the squad in the top flight. The defender came through Atletico Madrid's academy before spells at Osasuna and Alaves, and has amassed 178 LaLiga appearances over his career, along with a runner up finish at the 2023 U21 European Championship with Spain. His return gives Levante back a proven option in defense heading into the new campaign.
Back in Celta Vigo
Sanchez will return to parent club Celta Vigo following the conclusion of his loan spell at Levante, the club announced.
Analysis: Sanchez made 33 official appearances in La Liga for Levante and scored one goal to go with two assists this season, with his experience, intensity and commitment contributing to the team's defensive work throughout the campaign. Levante thanked Sanchez for his contribution as he now heads back to Celta Vigo.

Analysis: Sanchez did have a few accurate crosses but simply wasn't able to get volume to translate what would be solid efficiency into an assist. He'll likely go back to Celta Vigo since his loan deal with Levante was for just this season, though he could explore a permanent move to the club that did manage to stay in La Liga for 2026-27.
