Heading back to England

Pembele will return to parent club Sunderland following the conclusion of his loan spell at Le Havre.

Analysis: Pembele made 14 Ligue 1 appearances across 373 minutes for Le Havre this season, contributing 11 tackles and three clearances in a rotational role. Pembele had previously made 20 top-flight appearances including 12 starts and one goal across 1,109 minutes in his first season at the club in 2023/24, and now heads back to Sunderland where his future will be assessed heading into the 2026/27 Premier League season.
