Sees red card vs. Villarreal
Elliott was sent off in the final minutes of Saturday's 2-1 loss to Villarreal.
Analysis: Elliott was given a straight red card late in the game, and to make things worse for Valencia, they ended up losing the game on a stoppage-time goal from Georges Mikautadze. Elliott will miss the Nov. 1 matchup at Elche, but since he's yet to start a game this season for Los Che, his absence shouldn't be much of an issue from a fantasy perspective. If the Disciplinary Committee doesn't extend his ban, Elliott would be eligible to return against Real Madrid on Nov. 7.
Joins Valencia on loan
Elliott has joined Valencia on loan from Liverpool for the remainder of the 2026-27 season, the club announced.
Analysis: Elliott is on the move again because he still can't get minutes at Anfield, where he's made 149 appearances and scored 15 goals since arriving from Fulham in 2019 but has slipped down the pecking order in recent seasons. His 2025-26 loan at Aston Villa did nothing to help, where he managed just four league outings and failed to register a goal or assist across 211 minutes in all competitions. Valencia gives him a fresh league and the chance to play as a regular starter in the attacking midfield or off the right, which is what he needs at 23.
