Three tackles in defeat
Calafiori generated two shots (zero on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Brighton.
Analysis: Calafiori registered two shots without troubling Bart Verbruggen, created two chances and delivered two inaccurate crosses across 90 minutes as Arsenal's left-back struggled to impose himself in a match Brighton dominated territorially from the first whistle. He was unable to provide the attacking outlet down the left that Arsenal needed to create pressure on a Brighton defensive unit that was rarely seriously tested. Calafiori and Arsenal head into the international break having conceded three for the first time in a Premier League match this season.
Helps record shutout
Calafiori had one shot (zero on goal) in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Sunderland.
Analysis: Calafiori completed the full match at left-back and helped Arsenal record another clean sheet, while also getting forward for one attempt. His attacking involvement was otherwise limited, but his ability to contribute on both sides of the ball continues to keep him involved in manager Mikel Arteta's defensive setup. Calafiori has been part of an Arsenal back line that has conceded just once and kept three clean sheets through four Premier League matches this season.
