Saves penalty versus Atlante
Vargas had one save and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Atlante.
Analysis: Vargas showed his ability once again by denying Jhojan Julio a spot-kick goal in the first half, even though Atlas were later beaten after a defensive distraction during Saturday's draw. It was the Colombian's second penalty save of the season, tying him with Nahuel Guzman as the only goalkeepers to double their count in that stat so far in the Apertura campaign. The next test for Vargas will be a visit to Toluca, who have scored the second-most goals in the league.

His next chance to bounce back will come in a home fixture versus Atlante, but it won't be an easy test without the suspended Capasso in the back line.
