Nets first career brace
Manu Kone scored two goals to go with two shots (two on goal) in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Inter Milan.
Analysis: Kone is rarely a name on the scoresheet, but he took the chances that came his way against Inter and finished the first half with the first brace of his career against the reigning champions at the Olimpico. The brace also saw the midfielder already match his goal tally from each of his last two Serie A seasons, when he scored twice in both campaigns.
Used as sub versus Torino
Kone (knee) recorded one interception and drew one foul and committed four in 11 minutes in Monday's 2-0 victory versus Torino.
Analysis: Kone overcame a mild knee problem without missing time but played limited minutes in this one and didn't make an impact. He'll most likely resume starting against Inter. He has notched at least one interception in the last three games, amassing six and adding four key passes and four shots (one on target). Instead, he snapped a four-match string with at least one tackle in this one.
