Imperious defending against Atalanta
Lucumi generated one tackle (one won), two clearances and five interceptions and won one tackle in Sunday's 2-0 win versus Atalanta.
Analysis: Lucumi had arguably his best display since moving to Juventus, setting a new season high in interceptions and helping secure the second clean sheet in a row, albeit the previous one was in a continental match. He has started over Lloyd Kelly and Federico Gatti in five consecutive contests, recording five tackles (all won), seven interceptions and eight clearances.
Moves to Juventus
Lucumi has signed a contract until 2030 with Juventus upon joining from Bologna.
Analysis: Lucumi heads to a bigger club after four solid seasons with Bologna and starring in Europe too over the last two years. He contributed to 11 clean sheets in the past campaign, recording 53 tackles, 46 interceptions and 154 clearances in 39 games. He'll push Lloyd Kelly for the starting job, while there'll be more room for Torbjorn Heggem and Martin Vitik at Bologna.
