Nets crucial equalizer
Zabarnyi scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-1 victory against Strasbourg.
Analysis: Zabarnyi took advantage of Marquinhos being rested to start against Strasbourg and made his opportunity count, scoring PSG's equalizer in the 77th minute. The center-back converted his only shot of the match and also created one chance while completing 90 minutes in defense. The goal was his first in Ligue 1 this season, coming in just his second appearance. Although Marquinhos remains a regular starter, PSG's frequent rotation should give Zabarnyi additional opportunities throughout the campaign.
Option for Classique
Zabarnyi (not injury related) is an option for Sunday's Classique against Marseille, since he wasn't mentioned in the injury report.
Analysis: Zabarnyi had been left out of the squad for the recent match against Brest as a selection decision rather than a fitness concern, with coach Luis Enrique previously noting the club's depth would force occasional omissions of established players throughout the season. His clean bill of health now confirms he remains fully available amid the significant competition for central defensive minutes alongside Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Lucas Hernandez and Lucas Beraldo.
