Signs five year deal with Alaves

Rodriguez signed a contract with Deportivo Alaves through 2031, joining from FC Utrecht, according to the club.

Analysis: Rodriguez made 45 Eredivisie appearances over two seasons at Utrecht, scoring 10 goals, and also scored twice in eight Europa League matches during his time there. The 23 year old winger came through Celta Vigo's academy and made his LaLiga debut with the club in 2023/24 before his move to the Netherlands, and now brings his pace, dribbling ability and versatility across the front line back to Spain as he begins the next chapter of his career.
